Our aim is to serve our clients with integrity and honesty. We are constantly vigilant to ensure our staff are well-informed, our brochures and websites are accurate and our customers receive good service and are treated with respect.
The Brochure, Gifts and Prices
Our brochure's and website's pictures and descriptions reflect our understanding of each gift we offer and are given in good faith. However, session lengths are given as an indication only and suppliers may substitute reasonable alternatives without notice; for example, a particular vehicle may be substituted for another with a similar performance. Should something be substituted of lower value, voucher holders will be entitled to compensation up to the net cost of the element of the Escape missed. Our brochure prices, which include VAT, are accurate at the time of going to press. However, we reserve the right to vary gifts or prices without notice.
We aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days, but please allow 5 working days for the vouchers to reach you.
We are able to offer next day delivery for orders received by 12-midday at a cost of £10.
Suppliers' Terms, Availability and the Weather
Those using the facilities of our suppliers automatically agree to be bound by their reasonable conditions, for example regarding safety and cancellations. Redeeming gifts will depend on availability and, in some cases, it may be necessary to book well in advance. Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions, which may affect clients' safety. Customers are advised not to make firm travel arrangements until bookings are confirmed in writing. We cannot be held liable for costs incurred where suppliers cancel activities at short notice.
Health and Safety
We endeavour to work only with reliable third-party operators, who manage their activities to the highest safety standards. Many of our gift vouchers have age, height, weight or other special restrictions. These are detailed in the brochure and in the information supplied with the vouchers. If in doubt, please check with our staff before booking. Additionally, where an activity includes an element of personal risk, suppliers may require participants to sign disclaimers before taking part.
Conditions, Payments and Refunds
Great Escapes is a division of The Great Events Group. It is understood that those booking by telephone accept The Group's booking conditions and that the person initiating the booking is responsible for making all parties aware of those conditions. Full payment for gift vouchers is required at the time of booking and vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase (or such other date specified on the voucher) and are not extendable or refundable. A voucher may be exchanged once, within thirty days of its original purchase, for another of the same value, or for one of greater value on payment of the difference, the new voucher retaining the date of the original.
Providers appreciate feedback, good or bad. If you feel you have any cause for complaint during your Escape, do please raise it, at the time, with the provider. If a difficulty could be resolved 'on the spot', it will not normally be considered reasonable to seek redress from us at a later date. We too value your feedback on what we do and the Escapes we offer. Do please 'phone, fax, e-mail or write, letting us know how we're doing!
